Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative and executive support for the President and the Chief Operating Officer of M Benefit Solutions in all day-to-day activities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings and arranging the required materials in addition to assisting with necessary follow-up conferences. Drafting and editing a wide array of written documents is a large part of this position. Other responsibilities will include assistance with the overall production and shipments of reports, maintaining an organized file system, and assisting with carrier contracting/appointments. As an Executive Assistant, you will plan, manage, and complete various projects which require outside research as well as problem-solving techniques. A heavy emphasis is placed on utilizing electronic spreadsheets in order to develop management and sales reports. In addition to coordinating all aspects of travel arrangements and processing expense reimbursements, this role will require you to coordinate a variety of company and client events. Another important aspect of this position is managing incoming mail/telephone calls and the affiliated responsibilities; specifically, bringing time-sensitive matters to the attention of the appropriate individual. The Executive Assistant must also oversee aspects of continuing education requirements and deadlines as well as drafting preliminary budgets.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree * Minimum of three years’ experience as a senior level Executive Assistant * Excellent organizational skills as well as the capacity to take initiative and follow projects/assignments through to completion * Ability to pay close attention to detail * Well-developed computer skills, with a heavy emphasis on MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to independently track, prioritize, and report on the status of multiple projects * Ability to build rapport with internal and external contacts * Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment * Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with highly sensitive information
