While the Lenovo brand came into existence only in 2004, the company has a much longer history. In 1984, Legend Holdings was formed with 200,000 RMB (US$25,000) in a guard house in China. The company was incorporated in Hong Kong in 1988 and would grow to be the largest PC company in China. Legend Holdings changed its name to Lenovo in 2004 and, in 2005, acquired the former Personal Computer Division of IBM, the company that invented the PC industry in 1981.
Summary
The Inside Sales Manager position will be responsible for expanding relationships, uncovering opportunities, selling the benefits of the full catalogue of Lenovo products and selling against the competition to Healthcare customers and our large business partners. The chosen candidate will need to demonstrate his/her ability to align new products and service offerings to the business and technology needs of the Healthcare market. This individual will manage and lead a department of inside sales representatives in selling Lenovo products, services, solutions to clients through inbound and outbound phone calls.
Responsibilities
* Developing and cultivating client relationships as well as achieving profit and revenue objectives * Be a leader in building and developing processes driving client satisfaction, operational efficiency, new account development, repeat sales, product upgrades, problem resolution, sales campaign programs, and business controls to maximize results * Ensure that products, services and solutions recommended to clients will fulfill their needs * Manage a team of inside sales representatives * Acquire and transition sales opportunities * Manage all aspects of complex sales and drive to close. The successful candidate will have demonstrated team building and leadership experience.
Ideal Candidate
* BS or BA degree or equivalent professional work experience * Previous field (outside) sales experience and inside sales experience preferred * At least 2 years previous sales team leadership and/or management required * Strong knowledge and established relationships within healthcare sales preferred * Must have worked in a quota-carrying sales environment * Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to influence others. * Demonstrated experience in showing quarter over quarter growth in sales revenue with large complex accounts
