Summary
Simplee is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join a team transforming the financial experience for healthcare patients. As a dynamic team member you will be responsible for qualifying and developing leads for the organization, primarily for Regional Vice Presidents of Sales. As a Sales Development Representative you’ll have the opportunity to grow with an exciting and innovative organization seeing direct impact of your contribution and be rewarded handsomely for it. Your Enterprise and SaaS Software Sales experience will be focused on revenue generation for the geographic territory throughout the southeastern US for new client acquisition and retention. This is a highly strategic role. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate ownership of the region, and to build the business through a period of rapid growth. You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual bookings and revenue objectives by closing new deals with large Healthcare Providers.
Responsibilities
* You will be teamed with 1­2 Regional VPs of Sales and charged with helping to accelerate Simplee’s explosive revenue growt * Qualify enterprise customer prospects leads provided by marketing for the organization through direct phone calls, emails and social media * Cultivate relationships with potential buyers and influencers, ‘open doors’ with potential prospects and develop leads that turn into sales. * Identify qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure * Team with field sales counterparts to develop prospecting strategy for assigned territory, and develop new business opportunities in target accounts * Team with Regional VP’s of Sales to drive opportunities to closure, in either a lead or supportive role depending on the market segment * Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations via web conference * Stays informed of customer business opportunities, current conditions, future prospects, active measurements, market condition and competitive issues * Display self­ discipline and focus to effectively manage an intense and high volume business; strong time management skills * Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly goals * Weekly review of leads developed, new leads added and any field sales intelligence; keeps records and generates reports on all phases of activities * Comply with company policies and manage in detail records in SalesForce.com
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience is required * Dynamic, fearless, high energy, very strong phone skills, 3­5 years’ successful sales experience in a sales, sales development or inside sales role within an intense, fast paced, goal oriented company * Track record of over­achieving monthly activity metrics and achievement of assigned quotas * Proficient with SalesForce, Email and prospecting tools. * Process and task oriented; very organized and diligent in lead management. * Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day * Entrepreneurial passion for challenging status quo, collaboration, urgency, & unrelenting drive
