Summary
As a vital member of a great company Inside Sales Team, the Diabetes Selling Representative is responsible for converting and closing new and existing patient leads by applying best-in-class phone sales/service skills, effective time/lead management, and product knowledge to address/alleviate patient concerns.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Territory Manager to exceed performance goals by developing and executing actionable sales plans * Utilize technology platform and data to analyze territory to support critical accounts * Educate patients on the importance of intensive diabetes management and continuous glucose monitoring for patients with diabetes * Master features, benefits, and value of aligned product lines and present these to patients utilizing appropriate situational sales methodology * Maintain knowledge of the current industry / competitive landscape including, GPOs, healthcare economics, reimbursement, competitors, competitive products, etc. * Build and maintain consultative relationships with territory partner, patients, and clinicians * Work within a defined level of authority to obtain verification of insurance benefits for Diabetes patients to provide solutions, products, discounts, and pricing to potential patients * Make outbound calls to existing and new patients to discuss therapies and convert leads to shipments * Proactively manage lead pipeline database to ensure prompt follow up and execution from lead to shipment * Leverage all available resources to follow-up with patients to ensure questions are thoroughly answered and opportunities for sales are generated * Attend and participate in sales meetings, conference calls, training programs, conventions and displays according to business need
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree and six (6) months as a Diabetes Therapy Associate; OR * Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of sales experience in a non-retail setting; OR * High school diploma and eight (8) years non-retail sales experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree; OR * High school diploma, six (6) months as a Diabetes Therapy Associate, and 4 years of customer service experience
Compensation and Working Conditions
Annual Pay $40,000 - $45,000
