We are seeking a Director of Engineering for our market-leading and rapidly growing Adjustable Beds division headquartered in Carthage, MO. We need someone who's as passionate about leadership as they are engineering. You'll manage a team that's responsible for all aspects of engineering for the division including research & development, product design, and strategic planning. Great project management skills are a must, including the ability to realign priorities as customer needs change.
We need a mechanical engineer who loves kicking the tires on new tech, especially the intersection of electrical and mechanical systems in durable consumer goods. If you have a track record for delivering creative, differentiated products that connect with consumer's design needs, we'd love to hear from you.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field
- 8-10 years of product development experience with expertise in fundamental product management processes
- 3-5 years of management level experience, including managing cross-functional teams
- Strong background in development and design of durable consumer goods with electronics content
- Proven ability to manage timelines, budgets, and creative & technical partners
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities
