Responsibilities
* Provide Engineering/Maintenance Due Diligence for acquisition/integration projects. * Ensure all engineering related works align with corporate engineering standards including sanitary design, ergonomics, employee safety and food safety requirements. * Development of 3-5 year capital plans for multiple sites. * Drive and support the KAMS process to meet objectives for Maintenance Excellence within Business unit. * Leading Business Unit-specific vision and mission to assure continuous improvement and alignment with the corporate vision. * Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize manufacturing, quality, safety, and productivity goal attainment. * Ensure succession planning and provide training and development plan for his team. * Collaborate directly with human resources to insure employee issues or concerns are correctly addressed and resolved. * Collaborate with Research and Development team on new product/process development projects. * Provide financial analysis for business development projects. * Work with customers to develop customized solutions for their products. * Manage Project costs within budgetary guidelines. * Initiate cost savings and sustainability measures. * Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting / problem solving activities and maintenance repair to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime. * Continuously apply sound mechanical and electrical solutions to resolve obstacles to plant efficiencies and to drive continuous improvement. * Effectively communicate results and action plans to appropriate employees and managers. * Ensure all project management operations are conducted in a safe and controlled environment. * Ensure all quality and regulatory standards, specifications and policies are met or exceeded. * Support Plant Maintenance Projects as needed. * Management of year on year capital budgets with plant management teams. * Ensure cross functional teams are developed and leveraged for project execution.
Ideal Candidate
* Engineering degree * 7+ total years maintenance engineering field in a manufacturing environment * Including 5+ years Supervisory / Management experience * Proven experience in project management execution * Good understanding or mechanical and electrical systems. * Experience TPM and/or Lean initiatives * Experience predictive/preventive maintenance programs * Strong computer application skills, * network and PC business application software * Budget planning and managing
