Summary
Qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating daily operations and workflow of assigned team and projects. Will also provide administrative support to the administration and staff of the College of Undergraduate Studies.
Responsibilities
**Management Functions:** * Coordinate daily functions of assigned AOS Assistants. * Responsible for directly supervising a team of AOS assistants. * Conduct annual performance evaluations. * Evaluate and assign workflow on a daily basis. * Assist AOS Assistant with problem resolution. * Assist with interviewing, hiring, mentoring and training of new AOS assistants for the college. * Assist with development, documentation, and promotion of new policies and procedures. * Submit and represent staff issues to Associate Dean and Vice President for college. * Be cross-trained in all supportive functions of AOS assistant function. * Work with academic leadership to provide coverage of School Curriculum and Academic Policy (CAP) Committee meetings * Update CAP (website/sharepoint/portal) with minutes, action items, and action item tracking in university approved format **Faculty Payroll:** * Oversee payroll submissions * Monitor payroll tool * Investigate payroll errors and find solutions. * Reconcile full-time faculty salaries and/or workload **Faculty Mentoring:** * Collect mentoring information from appropriate academic designee. * Enter student/faculty mentoring information into databases. **Scheduling:** * Communicate with Registrar and other appropriate departments about course sections and upcoming terms. Create additional sections, if necessary. Ensure balance of course sections. * Liaison between faculty, PDT, CMT, and bookstores for course scheduling and assignments. * Coordinate and track faculty assignments (committees, lead faculty, and course instruction) **Event Planning:** * Coordinate logistics of site visits for academic reviews and accreditation * Assist with Orientation of Academic Leadership **Technology Requests** * Coordinate and track all technology materials for academics * Update all website changes within the internal website regarding faculty * Upload and update new documents with the college sharepoints
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelors Degree required * Candidates must have at least 1-3 years of experience. * Candidate must possess strong MS Word, Excel and Power Point skills as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation and Working Conditions
Reports to Associate Dean and Vice President for college
