Summary
kCura offers a unique technology Sales and Marketing rotation program with a focus in the following areas: Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing Communications. We offer recent college graduates, who are passionate about technology and have an interest in the business behind creating world-class technology products, exposure to the business units that make things tick. This opportunity starts with a three month product specific onboarding, and provides four short term rotational assignments through the aforementioned business verticals. At the conclusion of the program there will be an opportunity to continue in one of a variety of roles within these verticals or others within kCura. Degrees sought: Business Administration, Business Management, Communications, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Business, Journalism, Management Information Systems, Marketing, or other related fields. The Program is supplemented with a variety of training and development activities. Following participation in the Program, employees are placed into a longer term assignment within the organization based on open positions at the time of the programs completion. Participants are regular, full-time employees of the Corporation with full benefits plan coverage. All assignments are in our downtown Chicago location.
Responsibilities
In this Program, entry-level candidates with career interests in technology marketing and sales are given the opportunity to participate in multiple assignments of approximately 6 month durations in different verticals of marketing and sales. Assignments may include: Marketing Communications: - Create / analyze communication plans - Write white papers - Research projects for Public and Analyst Relations - Work on corporate communications tasks Product Marketing: - Analyze current marketing processes - Conduct market research - Research product position and messaging that differentiate us in the market - Create sales enablement tools - Support efforts on the digital marketing team including analytics, reporting, and lead gen activities - Provide assistance to events marketing from contributing to project plans, on-the-ground support, and calculating post-event ROI Product Management: - Prepare presentation materials - Document / research product requirements - Manage product backlog - Follow up with clients Sales: - Field clients’ communications - Present product demonstrations - Research potential clients - Maintain salesforce data - Prepare presentation materials Other potential assignments: Digital marketing and Community and Events
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree (May / June 2016 grad) * Have an overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher * Passion for technology, especially software * Eager to learn * Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities * Strong presentation skills
