(Austin, Texas)Kasasa (formerly BancVue) powers products and services such as Kasasa rewards checking, personal finance management, online account opening, and savings accounts, and online marketing for community banks and credit unions.
The Associate, Product Management is a key member of the Product Team that optimizes existing Kasasa products to ensure client and consumer satisfaction, while identifying opportunities for new product innovation. This role will work cross functionally throughout Kasasa to identify and fill product gaps, achieve team and corporate goals, and research opportunities to provide new and enhanced products to Kasasa’ clients while embodying the Patch Values.

- Product Planning and Management
- Work with Directors of Product Management to achieve annual in-market goals, and work cross-functionally with internal teams to hit release dates
- Learn how to manage a product through the product development lifecycle and how to lead cross-functional teams to resolve problems and implement improvements
- Participate in development of annual business plans and quarterly updates
- Product Development
- Learn how to effectively communicate project scope, schedule, and deadlines in a cross-functional environment
- Assist in the development of new products by contributing to the writing of user-stories and coordinating with internal technology partners
- Support growth opportunities and learn the fundamentals of the product development process
- Engage with clients, prospects, and internal staff to gather and document market requirements
- Support market product launches, including Sales readiness activities and post-launch efforts
- Product Marketing
- Support Sales and Account Management with product knowledge and technical expertise
- Work with Marketing to create marketing materials including presentations, case studies, website content and white papers
- Work with client-facing teams to identify and execute opportunities that increase product penetration
- Research and Analysis
- Research and analyze market trends, new technologies, and competitors to identify product gaps and identify opportunities
- Internal Support
- Serve as ‘product expert’ – respond to product and technical questions, including participation in sales and client calls/visits
- Troubleshoot arising product issues and/or client requests
- Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development
- Bachelor’s degree with Business concentration
- 2+ years of experience in a financial B2B Product Management or Marketing role (or equivalent)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to make presentations
- Ability to effectively balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills
