Summary
To develop and maintain knowledge the competitive landscapes in which inContact participates, in terms of both products and competitors. To be able to provide insights from such knowledge to assist in executive decision making. To assist with product marketing activities designed to generate leads, to increase sales growth and to expand market share. To assist with the sales enablement of all markeing assets.
Responsibilities
* Stewardship and process/project management for inContact's Market Radar process, including primary research topics, methodology and analysis. Support the market radar process in the areas of Competitive Intelligence and assembling and gaining participation from a broad spectrum of internal and external viewpoints. * Monitor and analyze our competitive landscape and provide thought leadership regarding strategy and education to relevant stakeholders throughout the company. * Develop Key Intelligence Topics with key stakeholders and to provide information and insights to assist in decision making. * Monitor and analyze customer needs and technology trends and provide thought leadership regarding strategy and education to relevant stakeholders throughout the company. * Providing leadership in holistic marketing efforts to launch and ensure the success of the company's SMB efforts. Such efforts include the development of holistic tools such as messaging, collateral, web site(s), video(s), banner ads, relevant nurture streams, etc. * Develop a working understanding of demand generation and the relevant nurture streams to ensure consistency in marketing and messaging efforts. * Partnering with the demand generation team to ensure that marketing efforts contain messaging consistent throughout the company's nurture and marketing streams. * Monitor and analyze key market trends through regular engagement with customers, iCVC members and industry research. * Work with sales to increase enablement of marketing assets to sales through the use of such tools as Qvidian and Salesforce. Such efforts include competitive briefs and trainings, competitive strategies aligned with Customer Centric selling and product-based training videos * Assuming a leadership role in inContact's Users' Conference. * Creates or assists in creating content for regular product trainings for Sales and Customer Service. * Assist in creating sales presentations using competitive, consumer and market data to increase product adoption. * Interact with Marketing on campaigns, provide input as subject matter expert. * Monitor competitor activities including pricing, marketing strategies and product direction. * Align sales tools and the ideal sales process to the typical buying process. * Support and maintain solutions offer toolkit for sales team and internal business units. * Support major release and product launch efforts. * Support, update and create relevant buyer personas, as well as contribute information that assists in the creation of user personas within the Solution Groups. * Provide new hire training on the contact center industry, its functions and relevant markets. * Assisting in the production of events, as required. * Maintains a thorough level of understanding of our business, marketing materials and business jargon, the unique point of difference and our products and services. * Project management clearly articulating project scope and objectives, meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, organization and vendor capabilities, and procedures for tracking and monitoring.
Ideal Candidate
**To Land This Gig You'll Need:** * Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience required. Master’s Degree Business or Marketing preferred. * 4+ years experience in software product marketing required, or 4+ years contact center experience with extensive WFO knowledge (and preliminary knowledge of Product Marketing) * Ability to effectively manage a heavy schedule of projects and programs. * Expertise in positioning, packaging and sales enablement required. * Experience in marketing a SaaS solutions a plus. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills and effective presentation capabilities. * Ability to work cross functionally with peer group of senior and executive leadership in order to achieve goals. * Excellent influencing and consensus-building skills. * Ability meet deadlines. **Bonus Experience:** * Experience in contact center market is preferred
