Summary
The Senior Manager will be responsible for delivery of global initiatives with the intent to embed a continuous rigor of excellence in digital measurement for the global practice. Working closely with the DCOE Global Franchise and Digital Analytics teams, the Senior Manager will lead and participate in development and delivery of global capabilities. These global strategic initiatives align to the New Way of Marketing. The Senior Manager will demonstrate business and customer value while educating and influencing stakeholders on the importance of maturing the practice in alignment with governing measurement principles and best practices. Additionally, the Senior Manager will work with cross functional business leaders to deepen a culture of data democratization in order to successfully drive adoption of the strategy. The role is a key contributor to the creation of a data-driven culture for the J&J Consumer digital analytics practice.
Responsibilities
* Globally, represent and support the DCoE Analytics best practices within the scope of digital measurement, reporting, insights, & optimization across all assets within the digital ecosystem; Aligned with Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) and in Tandem with the DCOE Global Franchise Marketers, participate in analytics planning & measurement workshops; * Actively seek global insights from IMC digital reporting and make actionable recommendations; Manage the A/B testing & optimization deployments for global initiatives triggered by insights based on data and observed trends. * Shape and conduct educational programs for key stakeholders including the Global Franchise Organization in order to continuously evolve the analytics practice towards digital excellence; Identify new analytics requirements that can improve customer and business outcomes; Examples include customer segmentation, customer acquisition, satisfaction and retention and may involve additional requirements in Adobe Analytics, interfacing systems or new platforms. * In addition, the incumbent will act as liaison between with the Measurement Solutions Manager and the business to enhance capabilities across the Adobe Marketing Cloud; Participate in defining, shaping and leading new digital analytics pilot programs; In concert with the Global Analytics team, participate in metrics requirements, design/visualizations of marketing dashboards that represent digital global cross brand reporting and asset level reporting to deliver insights for business optimization opportunities; * Manage global vendors/agencies hired to deliver against global initiatives within digital analytics work streams; Provide Analytics support to the global franchise, regional franchise and RMO organizations. * Continually, align and collaborate with DCOE team leaders, digital council members, digital leadership and other key stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications: * A minimum of 6 years of Digital Analytics experience including web, mobile web/app, email, social media, social listening, display, and search is required. * A minimum of 10 years working experience in the digital space is required. Experience in the CPG space is preferred. * A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, analytics or finance is preferred. MBA is preferred. * Experience with Adobe Analytics is required. * Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing is required. Adobe Target or Optimizely are preferred. * Experience with Paid Media platforms is required (One or more: Adwords, AdCenter, DoubleClick, Atlas). * Experience with Social Media analytics platforms is required (One or more: Facebook Insights, YouTube Analytics, Twitter, Instagram). * Experience with Syndicated Measurement platforms is preferred (One or more: Hitwise, comScore, Nielsen). * Experience with SEO/SEM platforms is required (One or more: Conductor, BrightEdge). * Experience with voice of Consumer Measurement platforms is required (One or more: OpinionLab, Bazaarvoice, Foresee). * Experience with CRM platforms is preferred. Adobe Campaign is preferred. * Demonstrated solid analytical thinking is required. * Ability to understand and analyze data, synthesize data to articulate clear analyses and actionable findings is required. * Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present findings to stakeholders at all levels is required. * Strong ability to articulate POVs on capabilities and usefulness of digital analytics capabilities is required. * Proven ability to improve daily work flows, job functions and processes to continuously optimize deliverable times and manage resources is required. * Solid project management skills with a focus on timely and quality deliverables are required. * Excellent organizational, diplomatic and problem solving skills are required. * Results oriented, self-starter, high energy style and drive to success are required. * Strong ability to collaborate successfully and build relationships with brand marketing team, IT, agency partners and technology vendors is required. * Detail oriented, technically savvy, with marketing and analytical skills are required. * A passion for keeping up with industry and technology trends is required. * Advanced MS Excel, PowerPivot, PowerPoint, and Access skills are preferred. * The ability to thrive in change is required. A fast, flexible, cooperative work style is preferred. * A minimum of 10-20% domestic & international travel is required.
