Summary
Leads, facilitates and guides the interactive reasonable accommodation process with employees and managers for work place accommodations, return to work and ADA leave.
Responsibilities
* Consult with applicants, employees and managers regarding accommodation request. * Evaluate requests for work-related restrictions, leave extensions, indefinite leaves, undue hardship, essential functions of jobs and reasonable accommodation obligations. * Assess, recommends and assists with the timely implementation of effective, reasonable accommodation, facilitates placement of employees in the company's Reassignment Program as appropriate. * Provides consultation and coaching to Business HR and managers regarding sensitive employee issues when needed. * Ensures that all necessary reasonable accommodation communications are delivered to and between the employee, manager and Business HR. * Prepares and maintains appropriate, confidential documentation concerning the interactive process and provision of reasonable accommodation with employees. * Ensures that data related to requests for and provisions of accommodation is tracked in accordance with OFCCP regulations. * In partnership with Risk management, HR Legal, Business HR, the Company's third party leave administrators, and other stakeholders, the ACM assists in ensuring compliance with ADA, state disability, EEOC, OFCCP, GINA and workers' compensation laws, as well as escalates matters as appropriate to the respective stakeholders. * Partners in the development, dissemination and training of managers, employees and stakeholders regarding reasonable accommodation policies and procedures
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum requirements** * BS/MS in Human Resources or 3 years related experience. * 2+ years of experience with ADA regulation and compliance. **Desired requirements** * Experience with employee relations. * Knowledge of HR policies and procedures pertaining to leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations.
