Sourcing Analyst

Downtown Denver-based Company seeks a Sourcing Analyst that possesses sourcing knowledge, can develop strategies and negotiate with suppliers, and demonstrates strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant experience and is an excellent team player. The main responsibilities include analyzing spend and sourcing categories, identifying savings and assisting with other projects as needed.

• Analyze spend and identify opportunities for savings
• Source categories as needed
• Leverage Coupa for Spend Management reporting
• Determine success metrics
• Support teams with new Supplier implementations

Required Skills:

• Software Expertise - Proven expertise in the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel. Coupa Spend Management software experience is ideal.
• Problem Solving – Must be able to solve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and efficiently; and work well in group problem solving situations.
• Communication Skills - Must be able to communicate effectively and in a concise manner, both verbally and in writing.
• Adaptability - Adapt to changes in the work environment; manages competing demands; changes approach or method to best fit the situation; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events, appreciates opportunity to adjust and adapt with growing business.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a related field.
• Two to three years of experience working successfully in a similar business environment.
• Ability to maintain attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills.
