Summary
Our Legal Analyst will provide analytical and regulatory support to our Legal, Compliance and Regulatory and Government Affairs Department at Global Atlantic. Our Legal Analyst will work with individuals from multiple groups including Legal, Compliance, Investments, Operations and Finance to prepare deliver on projects, filings, and presentation development.
Responsibilities
* Working with senior Legal, Compliance and business professionals on important Global Atlantic initiatives such as Company-wide risk assessments, regulatory filings, policies and procedure development and board presentations * Creating and maintaining internal and external reports related to various matters affecting Global Atlantic’s business * Working with lawyers in the Legal department on contracts such as non-disclosure agreements * Performing data analysis on metrics and statistics related to Global Atlantic’s business such as escalated issues and complaints * Participate on project teams and assist in preparing goals, scope, tasks, timelines and resource requirements * Building and maintaining partnerships with internal stakeholders as well as contacts within the broader legal & and compliance community across GAFG
Ideal Candidate
* Undergraduate degree required with a demonstrated record of academic achievement * Legal experience a plus; prior internship experience preferred * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) * Ability to establish priorities and work effectively on multiple initiatives concurrently * Strong communication and presentation skills, work ethic, attention to detail and high level of personal integrity and accountability * Strong analytic skills and ability to communicate complex subjects in a clear and concise manner * Capacity to consider, process and filter large amounts of complex information quickly and identify appropriate actions in a fast paced environment * Ability to work with a geographically dispersed team across an enterpriseGlobal Atlantic is an equal opportunity employer, does not discriminate in employment on any basis that is prohibited by federal, state or local laws.
