Summary
The Operation Support Specialist in accordance with established policies and procedures will be responsible for assisting the credit administration activities by working with a team of other credit and loan document specialists.
Responsibilities
* Processes transactions for remote deposit capture, wire/ACH transfers and customer requests * Accurately scan original documentation into imaging system and prepare, maintain and organize paper files with necessary documentation for retention. * Provide administrative support to include, but not limited to, phone support, filing, scheduling meetings/appointments, process correspondence, records, and other standard office functions to all areas of credit. * Search, perfect, and file liens on all types of collateral and security interests. Create, maintain, and monitor all reports related to pledged and perfected collateral. * Maintain the core system’s tickler report, collaborating with other credit operation and production staff to cure outstanding ticklers and create new ticklers. * Assist in preparing for closings by processing documents, coordination and communication of the submission, approval, and closing of credit facilities. * Assists in the completion of all department assigned tasks and projects * Backs up other departmental functions as necessary to ensure timely and accurate duty completion * Acquires and maintains knowledge of Finance Co. products, services, promotions, and marketing materials
Ideal Candidate
**Skills, knowledge and abilities:** * Analytical interpretation * Knowledge of basic accounting principles * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Problem solving ability * Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products * Experience with or ability to learn core system (DNA) **Job Specifications:** * Strong attention to detail, must embrace change, effective at prioritization, multi-tasking, and effective oral and written communications skills. * Capability to effectively take direction and follow-up with customers and other credit staff. * High degree of confidentiality and professionalism. **Experience-Education (Required):** * High School diploma * 3 years of bookkeeping or basic accounting **Competencies-Skills (Required):** * Exceptional organization skills * Mid-level competency on Excel * Ability to work under pressure to meet multiple deadlines and changing priorities. * Must maintain a high level of quality and confidentiality. * Ability to be pro-active and also work both independently and collaboratively, while supporting multiple team members. * Must have a process-improvement mindset. * Effective verbal and written communication skills - keeping team members updated on status of requests. **Experience-Education (Preferred):** AA degree desired **Competencies-Skills (Preferred):** * Credit or banking support experience * Experience with direct deposits * Experience arranging travel for team members
