Summary
Responsible for ongoing analysis of business data, including digital media data, digital web data, primary research studies, and client business metrics to support media experience design from conceptualization through presentation of data. Serves as expert able to effectively apply and translate analytical techniques to solve/measure solutions to business challenges and can develop this skill in junior colleagues
Responsibilities
**ACCOUNTABILITY:** Supports Development and Execution of KPI to Measure Effectiveness of Digital Human Experience Plans for variety of client teams. May manage one or more Analysts. * Responsible for managing ad hoc and ongoing projects across one or more client accounts * Facilitates the infrastructural evaluation and implementation of a programmatic technology solution with the purposes actionable data for campaign stewardship and advanced analytics * Mines digital advertising and business data for relevant and actionable insights * Identifies and develops digital media campaign performance indicators and socializes alignment on those metrics to internal teams and agency clients * Analyses digital media campaigns and effectively provides recommendations to improve campaign performance * Forecasts business results and provides digital mix optimization recommendations to support design and measurement of media plan * Translates key finding to media team and client * Keeps abreast of evolving media landscape, including research and emerging trends to provide insight to both media teams and client (as required) * Proactively contributes to COE (Analytics team) through sharing of ideas and best practices * May manage and develop one or more analyst/sr. analyst * Partners with Starcom Analytics teams for multi-channel mix media modeling projects and overall analytics integrations
Ideal Candidate
* 3+ years of experience * BA with concentration in statistics, economics, or business, MA preferred. * Demonstrated ability to navigate and manipulate large data sets to create insights * Experience leading and managing analytics projects from ideation through completion * Experience with programmatic ecosystem (DMP, DSP, Exchange, Data vendors) * Reporting experience within a bidded environment (dCPMs, inventory and data cost variables, bidding rule familiarity) * Demonstrated experience planning and executing experimental designs (e.g. control/test, matched pairs) * Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills – demonstrated ability to mine data for relevant and actionable insights * Solid written and verbal communication skill with ability to communicate/translate complex concepts to non-technical audience * Demonstrated ability to effectively coach and develop junior colleagues * Demonstrated experience with website analytics, social media analytics or digital media analytics * Results orientations with strong independent and team project management and time management skills * Experience proficiency with Microsoft office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint * Experienced proficiency with reporting and data visualization software including Excel, Tableau or Good Data. Experience or orientation to learning new software packages and methodologies (social media tools, data visualization etc.), data analysis techniques.
