Responsibilities
* HR business partner to assigned client groups; Key member of the business leadership team, sets business and HR strategies across multiple locations including optimal workforce utilization, talent management and performance differentiation * Anticipates HR issues, concerns and needs based on business strategies and internal and external environmental and competitive factors; Provides HR leadership to strategic initiatives of business growth and performance * Addresses business-wide issues/projects drive critical core processes (Salary Planning, Performance & Development, Census Management, and Management Readiness Reviews) * Fosters positive working environment with employees; establishes trust and credibility, balances business needs with employee needs * Understands and influences business drivers and strategies; Own organization structure and staffing; and proactively develops and/or coaches leaders within the client group * Serves as the focal point of contact regarding human resource issues and concerns to support and properly apply Honeywell policies and practices * Manages HR programs and metrics to support HR and client initiatives * Consults on employee relations and performance management issues and facilitates solutions * Utilizes HOS and Six sigma methodologies to identify and drive continuous process improvement * Requires employment law knowledge, labor relations, primary staffing support for customer base, high level of business knowledge and involvement, partnering with the customer and change management skills * Promotes Honeywell's 5 Initiatives and 12 Behaviors
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 2 years experience in HR or related discipline. * Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent. **Additional Candidate Qualifications:** * Master's degree preferred with a concentration in Business, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Organization Development or a related * Previous experience within supply chain or operations is preferred * Green Belt certification a plus, along with demonstrated knowledge of Six Sigma * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to partner with the management staff at all levels and local union * Change agent with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, able to energize and motivate both direct and indirect organizations through thought leadership, energy, commitment and force of will * Results-oriented with strong bias for action * Strong organizational, leadership and follow through skills * Ability to operate effectively in a matrixes environment * Knowledge of HVAC and electrical channel
