Summary
To support a defined market or Business Unit to execute their people plans and policies; and to support the leadership of the market or Business Unit to manage all People matters, providing an effective relationship with the Global People team. Drive high performing culture focused on key gaps between current talent and talent required to drive business success. Be a trusted advisor to the business and align people initiatives to the overarching business OKRs. Develop deep knowledge of assigned business units to guide the leaders on Talent Management activities on: organizational effectiveness, performance management, coaching & development, change management, conflict resolution, building high performing teams and employee engagement. Champion Rubicon Project culture and partner with leadership to build a highly engaged workforce. Identify and understand what the business (and business leaders) are trying to achieve and to both partner & influence leaders to support that. This role is both strategic and tactical in nature, and the ability to be effective at different levels will insure success in this role.
Responsibilities
* Adjust people strategies to respond to changing needs of the business * Create a talent strategy for assigned business unit(s) * Redesign structures to align with overall organizational change and effectiveness * Identify talent issues before impacting the business * Drive employee engagement programs within assigned business(s) * Focus on developing the next generation of leaders * Responsive to employee and manager issues * Ensure all people programs are aligned with culture * Track trends and create people dashboards by business unit, aligned with global people team strategies * Lead and/or participate in team projects focused on developing talent management programs, processes and policies * Partner with Talent Acquisition team in building a workforce plan and recruitment strategy as needed * Partner with all other People team functions by contributing to Global People Programmes, and providing feedback and insight into customer needs * Successfully build relationships across other departments, as well as with diverse personalities * We are one team! Jump in where needed * Measure and report on the performance of the defined Market / Business Unit, through the development and use of HR metrics to drive transparency and accountability for People performance.
