Summary
Oversees the on-site Sales & Marketing Business Operations including Business Management, Contracts Processing, Customer Relations Specialists and Owner Services Representative(s). Partners with on-site Sales & Marketing Management to achieve targets through strategic planning, operational reporting and analysis, cost control, inventory management, compensation, budgeting, forecasting and continual analysis and improvement of operational processes, procedures and programs.
Responsibilities
* Insures that Sales Center(s) is operate within budgeted numbers. Develops and analyzes reports and tools for Sales & Marketing Management. Distribute and review all key management reports with appropriate department(s) on a timely and consistent basis. * Monitor evolving needs & business strategy and leverage opportunities for efficiencies. * Analyze sales and marketing programs and identify and make known performance trends. * Review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements with appropriate department managers and produce variance analyses vs. budget and forecast. * Create annual Operating and Capital Budgets. Manage expenses in conjunction with Management Team to ensure they are consistent with budgets and forecasts. * Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual Forecasts to Corporate Office. * Work with Sales & Marketing Management Team to create appropriate Compensation Plans that facilitate achieving and exceeding site Sales and Marketing targets. Liaze with Compensation Team and Payroll Dept to ensure such Plans adhere to Corporate Policy and Procedure, and are paid timely and correctly. Set monthly, quarterly and annual compensation targets and ensures such targets are properly communicated amongst concerned teams. * Responsible for overall cost control at Sales Center(s). Insure Company Purchasing Policies and Procedures are adhered to. Review and approve all invoices submitted to Accounts Payable for payment. * Manage day to day operation of the Contracts Processing, CRS, Owner Services and Business Management departments. * Facilitate proposals and communication regarding inventory pricing, pricing specials, inventory sales strategies and implementation of inventory driven sales strategies amongst Management Team and Corporate Depts. * Review and communicate changes in policy, procedure or process which impact the business, to Management Team and others impacted by such changes. * Perform profitability analysis of new and proposed programs and/or partners. * Execute all reasonable requests by Management Team of which the employee is capable of performing, and all reasonsonable and customary requests as directed by supervisor.
Ideal Candidate
* 5-7 years Accounting or Financial Management Experience * Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) * Strong analytical skills * Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of corporate structures * Ability to set priorities and handle multiple requests in a dynamic environment * Flexible work schedule to include night, weekends and holidays * BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree * Overnight travel will be mandatory (up to 20%) **Preferred** * 7 years Accounting or Financial Management Experience * Vacation Ownership Experience * Hands on experience with COGNOS, VOICE, Oracle, PeopleSoft products, Hyperion * CPA/CPA Candidate
