Responsibilities
* Assisting General Ledger Manager in the day to day maintenance of complete and accurate general ledger(s) for the Company's various business entities * Recording journal entries, performing variance analysis and account reconciliations * Processing reports and underlying schedules in support of account reconciliations * Providing support to intra-departmental inquiries * Preparation of selected financial statement reports **Direct Responsibilities:** * Accounting for Payroll, Benefit, Prepayments, Leases, and Intercompany * Accounting for Goodwill and Intangibles * Coordination with the Field and Corporate Finance team to ensure accurate recording of expenses and associated variance analysis * Accounting for Capitalized R&D (including interdepartmental reporting, coordination and review as well as preparation of supporting impairment analysis * Foreign Entity Translation and Consolidation * Monthly Variance Analysis * Account Reconciliations * Balance Sheet Flux Analysis * Expense Flux Analysis * External Audit Schedules and Requests * Reporting – Flash, Quarterly Financial Package * Reporting for multiple entities and new acquisitions * Oracle FSG Maintenance and Reporting * Preparation for PeopleSoft integration * Ad Hoc Requests and Other Duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
**Requirements:** * Bachelor's degree - accounting/finance emphasis preferred * Minimum of 5 years relevant experience * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Excel * Oracle,PeopleSoft or other large ERP system experience * Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, research, and problem solving skills * Ability to perform detailed analysis * Able to work with executive management, finance team and accounting teams as well as Parent organization **Preferred:** * Past Public Accounting Experience * CPA or CPA candidate
