Summary
The Associate HR Generalist is responsible providing exceptional HR support to the Corporate HR team, and acting as a key contact for Corporate employees in the US.
Responsibilities
* Manages Harman's on-boarding process for all Corporate new hires and terminations, and facilitate new hire orientation for Stamford office * Acts as system administrator for WISE asset managemet system, and ensures audit compliance * Submits employee information for entry in HRIS system for new hires, terminations, transfers and other organizational changes.Ensures data integrity for Corporate * Maintains employee files for Stamford/Corporate employees * Partners with HR in other offices to ensure Corporate employees in other locations are onboarded and transactions processed as needed * Addresses employee questions regarding company policies and procedures, and helps resolve issues.Escalates to Corporate HR leadership as needed * Provides communications support for Corporate HR including management of oneharman site updates * Provides support for relocation, immigration and international assignment processing * Acts as back up for Corporate HR business partners * Provides internal employment verification/confirmation requests.Provides employment verficiation letters to employees for international business travel. * Provides program support for the US Service Awards program. * Provides HR support to the Corporate HR team on all HTC processes (target setting, performance, succession, etc) and reporting * Updates Harman's policy handbook, and other miscellaneous projects, including but not limited to vendor RFP’s, system/process training, special engagement/morale events * Provides back up support for annual Affirmative Action Plan reporting * Identifies opportunities and works towards improving existing process and procedure * Supports Corporate HR team in other projects as assigned
Ideal Candidate
