Summary

The Business Assistant II helps to ensure a coordinated effort across the business units, geographies and functional areas in a specific client location for a Contract Management Project. He/she will drive excellence across the unit with consistent and efficient processes, timely execution of projects with a high level of service and professionalism.

Responsibilities
  • Identify contract attributes (metadata) for various purchasing contracts and agreements to support new contract life-cycle management system.
  • Represent the unit through effective communications with internal customers, including face to face, written and telephone communications
  • Perform administrative duties including: data entry and report maintenance, along with planning and coordinating meetings
  • Filing and file maintenance (includes a variety of administrative documents, confidential material, general correspondence, etc.).
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate

Education:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

3-5 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required skills and abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret legal contract language. Purchasing background or Paralegal experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated excellent organizational, project and time management skills with strong detail orientation
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Access)
  • Professional and effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working on the Internet and with email
  • SAP business management software experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage highly confidential & sensitive information
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a calm demeanor while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Ability to multi-task

Physical demands:

Extensive computer use.
