Summary
For our Denver, CO corporate headquarters we are seeking a Corporate Quality Assurance Manager on our fantastic Global R&D team to help us achieve the growth needed to continue moving our organization to even larger levels!
Responsibilities
* Manages department initiatives and operates as a subject matter expert in applicable technologies, policies, programs, systems management, and specification management for all aspects of Cheese Quality Assurance. * Assures LFC and customer quality standards and expectations are being met by overseeing product evaluations, customer interfaces, performance testing, and methodology review. * Identifies, enters, updates, and verifies manufacturing and customer specifications through the SAP Specification Management System. * Supports the Production Division in troubleshooting plant quality deficiencies, working with technical resources, and plant management to identify root causes and eliminate recurring quality problems.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in food science or related discipline. * Six(6) years of food manufacturing, product development and quality assurance experience. * Two (2) years of leadership/people development experience. * Proficient with MS Office suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). * Ability to travel 25% of the time. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's Degree in Food Science or related discipline. * Previous experience in a Corporate QA leadership role. * Eight (8) years in food manufacturing, product development, and quality assurance in the dairy industry.
