Summary
As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
* Drive acquisition strategy to achieve our YouTube Red business goals (overall channel management, investment strategy, offer strategy, optimization strategy, etc.). * Drive actionable insights to inform product and marketing strategy (consumer insights, forecasting and analysis of acquisition channels, SAC/ROI analysis, etc.). * Build the operational platform to maximize YouTube Red acquisitions.
Ideal Candidate
**Minimum qualifications** * BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. * 7 years of relevant work experience. **Preferred qualifications** * Demonstrated strategic thinking experience, with the ability to develop strategy and business plans. * Proven track record of highly successful consumer product marketing or subscription marketing leadership. * A great passion for consumers and consumer experiences, with a demonstrated ability to utilize consumer research and data to drive actionable insights to inform marketing strategy and improve the consumer experience. * Demonstrated ability to influence effectively cross-functionally across all levels of management. * Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced dynamic environment. * A passionate leader and communicator, with demonstrated talent at building strong collaborative partnerships with product and other cross-functional teams.
