Summary
The US&C Product Manager will develop, execute, and manage all product and marketing activities related to the EPS portfolio for the US&C cluster. This includes developing and executing Marketing strategies and plans that allow the direct and indirect Sales Organization to maximize both revenue and profit to Kodak. This position will work closely with the US&C marketing manager, EPS annuity manager and EPS sales specialists to develop cluster-specific business plans, marketing strategies, sales pipeline development, base management programs and tactics that support the company’s product and go-to-market strategies and the achievement of our annual business objectives.
Responsibilities
**Develop and Implement Business Plan and Marketing Programs.** * Deliver programs and activities to improve sales and channel effectiveness. In conjunction with the cluster and WW marketing teams, develop and execute cluster-specific marketing campaigns and promotions, develop effective and clear internal and external messaging, collateral, and sales tools, and support sales efforts. Ensure the effective execution of marketing programs for the EPS portfolio. * Provide the expertise, materials and tools for the direct sales team and for channel partners to enable them to sell category products and solutions, to grow the digital pages printed. * Develop and maintain business and annual marketing plans to maximize Kodak’s profitability, promote the commercial value proposition, deliver localized messaging, and to drive the electrophotographic printing solutions business success. * Develop cluster-specific plans for the category to include customer acquisition strategies, local pricing, launch strategies, program plans and sales/channel strategies. * Lead the development and the implementation of solution bundles and the supporting marketing plans and programs, and evaluate the effectiveness of established marketing programs, recommend modifications, and implement change as necessary to support the achievement of annual budget objectives. **Maintain and Communicate Market/Segment/Product Knowledge.** * Act as internal and external advocate for Kodak’s electrophotographic products and solutions within the US&C cluster. Monitor the competition, the market and new technology trends to ensure that Kodak is optimally positioned to capitalize on new opportunities. * Liaise with sales force and customers to gain a solid understanding of the market and the sales team needs and ensure field sales has a solid understanding, and can effectively use the marketing programs and promotions to maximize sales & contribution to Kodak. * Communicate local market trends, pricing trends, and provide “voice of the customer” to ensure alignment with the needs of the market as it relates to electrophotographic products and solutions. * Represent the category within the cluster as the subject matter expert with customers, press, analysts, associations, and other industry contacts. **Lead product planning efforts.** * Work with colleagues to create awareness, maximize lead generation, strengthen sales funnel, and improve customer retention in support of product line objectives. * Lead sales forecasting and participate in reviews. * Provide timely input on competitive products and services, customer requirements and market trends for use in developing product and roadmap investment plans. **Metrics** * EPS product line gross profit, revenue * Unit placements, Installed Base * Page volume * Timing of launches, training, tools **Key process accountability** * Product line forecasting, S&OP, pipeline tracking * Product and category positioning and launch management * Product and system pricing administration and deal evaluation
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, a related discipline or equivalent experience is required. * 7-10 years experience in managing product portfolios and implementing marketing programs in a B2B environment. * Demonstrated capability to manage a portfolio of products and develop effective marketing strategies that drive profitable business growth in assigned product lines or market segments, and a solid understanding of electrophotographic and commercial printing technologies.
