Summary
Under the direction of the EHR Client Support, the Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for developing, in conjunction with the Senior Applications Project Manager, the financial modules of Netsmat's Evolv product for the Behavioral Healthcare division. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for supervising the Evolv Financial Analyst(s), as well as training billing and other appropriate staff in billing functions. In addition, the Analyst will work with the Client Support and the Program Management Office (PMO) to define, plan, execute, monitor, manage and transition related implementation and upgrade projects and initiatives per schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities
* Supervise the Evolv Financial Analyst(s), providing guidance on day to day work. * Oversee the Financial aspects of the Integrated Project Plan. * Oversee the development of data conversion from ARPlus, Dr. First, and PeopleSoft and other systems to Evolv. * Build forms and advanced reports using Table Access, GUID references, and Microsoft Reporting Services. * Advise Hospital Health Behavioral Services staff on the best practices of establishing an in-house Patient Accounts department capable of the full revenue cycle for Behavioral Health, while adhering to all state, Federal, Medicare, Medicaid and other payer rules, regulations and performance standards for Behavioral Healthcare. * Responsible for supervising and overseeing set up of the billing rates, payers, and other financial and billing modules in Evolv. * Responsible for training EVOLV users in the billing and financial modules, and ensure users are properly trained prior to gaining access to the production environment. * In collaboration with other EHR Program Leads, create a working environment that ensures success at all levels. * Support the Super Users relative to training of new functionality. * Acts as a resource to the other Evolv Analysts. * Utilizing the standards, processes and tools defined for use by the Program Management Office (PMO). * Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. * Ensure timely execution and expectation / outcome achievement for each work plan task and deliverable. * Track and routinely communicate the status of project milestones and key deliverables to the EVOLE TBD, PMO, appropriate project team members, leadership and governance. * Provide additional training and development support as required or requested. * Participate as requested or required with the definition of departmental budgets operation and staffing. * Maintain strict adherence to all Hospital policies. * Demonstrate a commitment toward meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers. * Participate in departmental and/or interdepartmental quality improvement activities. * Participate in and successfully completes Mandatory Education. * Perform all other duties as needed or directed to meet the needs of the department.
Ideal Candidate
* Direct experience with Community Behavioral Services, particularly in billing and finance. * Ability to articulate a variety of departmental and organizational goals, strategies and plans into integrated tasks with timelines and resource assignments. * Demonstrated organization, verbal, written and inter-personal skills. * Excellent leadership, management, analytical, problem solving and technical skills. * Skill and experience in adult education. * Deep understanding of EHR systems. * Ability to handle multiple projects with aggressive timelines, as well as ability to multi-task and prioritize work. * Demonstrated skills in strategic and critical thinking, negotiation and relationship building. * Global vision and perspective in all areas of decision-making. * Demonstrated ability with change control and change management. * Problem solver, consensus builder, results oriented with ability to quickly take action to achieve goals. * Proven leadership abilities. * Customer focused, service oriented. * Capable of using Micro-Soft Windows Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Education: * Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field, and at least 5 years experience in Behavioral Health billing or finance.(CPA preferred)
