Summary
Account Manager for Digital Advertising Sales, who will be stationed in the Northeast region. You will develop new relationships in the media / advertising industry and close new clients for GasBuddy products. The best candidates will be able to think outside the box on how to generate the maximum revenue from every relationship.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for direct sales and increasing revenue across GasBuddy Mobile and Web properties * Generate new business as well as manage and grow existing business * Exceed Quarterly and Annual goals * Create and deliver professional presentations to clients and prospects * Maintains timely and effective communication with East Coast Ad Director and the VP of Sales * Responsible for monthly forecast, projections and revisions * Manage all current clients in a professional manner * Collaborate in the development of new advertising vehicles, promotions and programs * Represent GasBuddy and its properties in a professional manner * Travel for meetings, conventions and trade shows.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Digital/New Media, Sales, Communication, Marketing, or related field * 3-5+ years in digital advertising sales: Mobile/Desktop * Media sales expertise within the desktop and mobile media markets * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and quotas * Strong client list and contacts within the Advertising Agency, Gas/C-Store, CPG and Auto industries. * Excellent communication skills, both oral and written * Go-getter with a no-quit attitude; a proven closer * Effective time-management and organization * Team player willing to go the extra mile for the overall success of the team * Master of SalesForce, Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint * Ability to prospect and establish new opportunities and prospects * Strong work ethic and desire to excel
