Summary
Valuation and Financial Advisory Services (VFAS) is a fast growing practice focused on providing business and intangible asset valuations, financial opinions, financial and strategic analysis, forecasting and transaction support services covering a broad spectrum of industries and situations. Clients range from early stage to Fortune 500 companies, as well as capital market constituents globally. An Administrative Assistant/Marketing Assistant will be directly responsible for a variety of administrative and support functions for the practice and its marketing initiatives. The role be temporary with the potential to become permanent.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating execution of confidentiality agreements and distribution of client reports through Salesforce * Assisting in creating and maintaining marketing collateral materials to incorporate into company proposals/pitches, presentations or prospect/contact marketing initiatives * Running various Salesforce.com reports at request of leadership and assisting with various data input into Saleforce.com * Performing research on requested prospect lists. Finding contact information, company descriptions, summary-level prospect-company financial information as applicable (e.g. sales levels, market values), and other information as applicable from third party databases, on-line research and other sources * Assisting with coordination of internal and external events including but not limited to preparation of presentation materials, coordinating with respective parties on event details, coordinating with event vendors, etc. * Summarizing & distributing important industry news periodically * Coordinating preparation of project case studies material * Scheduling calls/meetings and managing calendars for certain practice leaders * Answering phones * Assisting with making travel arrangements * Preparing expense reports
Ideal Candidate
**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:** * 5 - 10 years of administrative experience and 1-2 years of marketing / database experience * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point and Excel) * Fluency with Salesforce. System development*, data mining and intricate knowledge of application **PREFERRED SKILLS:** * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Excellent time management skills and attention to detail * Demonstrates a professional demeanor in all interactions and communications * Easily handle multiple tasks and maintain control and order over the same * Be conscientious about assignments and quality of work product * Assume accountability for job performance * Exercise exceptional written and verbal communication skills * Be able to work independently and finish tasks in a concise and timely manner * Possess the ability to take initiative and be resourceful
