Summary
Fors Marsh Group is currently looking for a detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and competent individual for a full-time position as a Marketing Assistant reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate will play an important role in supporting the marketing team by managing, scheduling and coordinating workflow. The ideal candidate will need to be extremely organized, an efficient and quick learner and an enthusiastic team player who can adjust to variety of working styles. The person should be a self-starter with excellent verbal, written, organizational, communication and computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the marketing team. - Coordinate and monitor reoccurring reports and status updates for clients. - Schedule, arrange meetings, and prepare meeting agendas as needed. - Coordinates meetings and events providing logistical support to include: travel arrangements, agenda preparation, information distribution, expense report assistance, etc. - Attend meetings and take meeting minutes and resolutions to report back to the Marketing Team and meeting attendees. - Track and follow-up on time sensitive actions for the marketing team. - Creates, maintains and enters information into databases. - Plans and assists with the execution of internal and client related events. - Develops and maintains a positive rapport with FMG clients and staff. - Coordinate printing and other vendor relationships. - Support marketing department with general administrative items.
Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or related field. - Minimum 1 years’ experience in an administrative or account coordinator role. - MUST be able to pass a Government background check. - Ability to work effectively with other team members and maintain positive morale and a sense of teamwork. - Professional verbal and written communication skills a MUST.
