Responsibilities
* Develop a project roadmap based on understanding of business objectives and alignment with business priorities using both waterfall and agile methodologies; clearly articulate the business benefits and objectives to the teams * Manage all aspects of a given project including: * Develop, maintain and report on plans, schedules, budgets and resource assignments for programs and projects * Drive escalation and address resolution of issues (budget, resources, scope change, etc.) * Identify and manage mitigation plans for project risks * Communicate project changes and events to concerned parties and re-baseline plans as required * Proactively set performance expectations with the team and support them on the delivery in order to drive consistent results * Lead cross-functional meetings and foster teamwork (Internal and external clients, vendors, business unit functional areas, project development teams); * Facilitate communications among project participants to expedite project processes and to resolve issues and problems * Represent the project to senior management, reporting on budget, schedule, process and status
Ideal Candidate
* BA/BS or equivalent experience (MBA would be a plus) * At least 7 years functional experience in the following areas * Hands on experience as a Project/Program Manager utilizing a Waterfall and Agile methodologies * Hands on experience managing global software development Project teams * Proven ability to build and lead integrated teams from various internal and external organizations across multiple sites, including disparate global delivery centers. * Strong leadership, consultative, team-building, and influencing skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including senior executives * Effective business development skills including proposal development and preparation, business case/plan development * Strong project management and organizational skills * Strong decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills * Advanced time management skills * Competency in the following: * Project management methodology and tools for both Waterfall and Agile methodologies * Computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications * Business unit products and operations * Vendor management skills * Project Management in regulated industries * PMP and/or ACP Certifications is a plus * Operational knowledge of ITIL processes and tools is a plus * Ability to travel
