Summary
The Recruiter will work with Hiring Managers to coordinate and drive high-volume recruiting activities for two Operations Centers, and develop and maintain relationships with hiring managers to effectively execute recruiting plans. They will oversee the recruitment process from initial requisition through hire. This includes active recruiting, sourcing, screening, skills testing, pre-employment checks, compliance, offer development and delivery. This person should utilize proactive recruiting techniques and develop industry contacts to hire qualified and talented individuals while maintaining the Expedia, Inc. recruitment protocols, including position requisition, job posting, and job file maintenance. They will also coordinate all pre-employment background checks and other necessary testing.
Responsibilities
* Organize and participate in recruitment events such as career fairs and presentations. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of professional, minority and community groups as well as educational institutions to foster recruitment efforts. * Complete metrics and status reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. * Support internal development by working with HR team and managers on the intent as well as spirit of the internal transfer process. * Responsible for maintaining recruiting database files. * Maintain a current awareness and knowledge of state and federal labor laws and compliance requirements and ensures compliance with all FCC, EEO and other government legal and corporate requirements. * Adhere to compliance mandates through accurate tracking of applicants and sourcing. * Provide staffing status reports, hiring trends and analysis.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree * Minimum 4 years recruiting experience in a high-volume, non-exempt environment. Preferably with Agency and/or corporate experience. * Ability to create diverse and creative solutions for sourcing non-exempt candidates * Excellent PC skills including MS Office products and superior Internet skills are a must Experience with Workday Recruiting is a plus * Experience utilizing testing and evaluation tools * The ability to network and build relationships quickly and maintain them while selling company image and opportunities * Must possess excellent planning & organizational skills * Requires excellent written and oral communication skills * Ability to travel as required (<15%)
