Summary
We have opportunities available for several remote Contract Recruiters to join our team in support of our fast-growing business! These roles will be for 3-6 months, with the strong likelihood to extend. In partnership with an in-house team, this group will support high volume recruiting, for part-time associates. Experience in a high-volume environment is highly preferred. You will work remotely, from your home, with regular travel to local career fairs, store locations, etc. Home offices must be located in the vicinity of Long Island, NY in order to ensure easy travel.
Responsibilities
* Proactively develop talent pipelines through social media, internet search tools, setting up job fairs, resume mining, and calling into competitive companies. * Identify candidates of interest through the use of best practices and innovative sourcing techniques in support of multiple priority job openings. * Coordinate local and regional recruiting events such as open houses, job fairs * Use applicant tracking to track sourcing program success and measure the effectiveness of strategies, pipelines, conversions, and offers. * Deliver competitive landscape analysis and though leadership on geographic and talent pools to recruiters and hiring managers. * Provide reporting and regular status updates to talent acquisition leadership and hiring manager, as required. * Track and report on staffing activities to ensure talent acquisition achieves key hiring milestones. * Accountable for following talent acquisition processes in accordance with policies, practices, and other legal requirements. * Support the talent acquisition team as needed with staffing related projects and recruitment activities in other niche markets, as needed. * Adheres to Company standards and maintains compliance with all policies and procedures. * Performs other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
**Work Experience/Education Required:** * At least 1 year of experience in Recruiting or Human Resources * Must have a High School Diploma or GED. * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field, preferred * Exposure to Federal, State and local employment laws a plus. * Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management a plus. **Functional Knowledge and Business Expertise Required:** * Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). * Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point and Access). * Ability and disciplined in handling confidential information and high volume recruiting * Knowledge of relevant Federal, multi-state and local employment and labor laws pertaining to recruitment, a plus * Ability to intuitively understand the needs of hiring managers, and translate insights into action with cross-functional team partners * Solid networking skills * Ability to interact with upper management and all staff a cross-functional areas
