Summary
Our Human Resources group is seeking a Global Process Owner to improve high impact HR processes worldwide. In this role, you will apply your expertise to streamline Expedia’s HR processes end-to-end with a focus on end-user simplification. You will use a data based approach and collaborate with multiple teams to build solutions that improve how we attract & retain talent globally. You will be a part of the HR Operations team that is responsible for providing simple, scalable and efficient core HR services to all Expedia employees worldwide. This includes delivering front line customer support, processing high volume transactions, and improving many aspects of the employee experience.
Responsibilities
* Function as HR business owner for key global processes including New Hire, Onboarding, Transfers, Terminations, etc. Establish approach and roadmap for process improvement initiatives relative to Global HR Operations vision * Establish and build HR operations capability in end-to-end global process improvement methodology using Lean/Kaizen concepts * Execute global process re-design utilizing analytics to drive prioritized improvements. Partner with the HR Technology team to improve automation of activities on a variety of systems. * Design, implement and monitor process performance goals and measures * Engage regional process owners to drive process consistency globally and coordinate regional efforts towards global process improvement * Improve employee & HR facing content/knowledge for employee lifecycle processes by applying new HR knowledge/content guidelines * Work closely with HR and other corporate teams to lead & drive end-to-end process improvement. Build and lead effective process change management & communication plans when required
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related fields * 10+ years of practical business experience with background in process design and improvement * Previous experience implementing a process improvement methodology (Lean, Kaizen, etc.) highly preferred * Previous experience leading cross functional partners through a process improvement framework grounded in data * Prior management experience desired even though this is an individual contributor position * Multi-year budgeting and road mapping experience for select processes * Proficient at communicating conclusions to leadership in clear and concise manner (graphs, charts, PowerPoint) * Experience partnering with internal and external IT organizations. Workday experience desired * Strong organizational skills, able to meet deadlines, and have excellent communication skills * Ability to multi-task and be a creative problem-solver
