Programmer Analyst - JDA Category Management

Reporting to the IT Manager for Customer Development Systems, you will be a key technical member within Information Technology. Your proven experience with JDA’s solutions and knowledge of best practices will help keep Gallo at the leading edge of Category Managment. You will have an opportunity to learn about the adult beverage segment as we leverage retailer and syndicated data to optimize assortment and ensure customers can find the products they want.

JDA Development:

• Work with retail account teams to understand planogram creation requirements
• Leverage JDA’s tools to implement requirements and accurately create planograms (CKB, SAPRO, etc)
• Resolve account team questions and troubleshoot planogram issues
• Document planogram creation process and best practices
• Extend capabilities with the JDA Suite to ensure we are maximing our investment (Web Publisher, PEM, Open Access)
• Leverage Space Automation PRO to speed up planogram creation and ensure products are accurately placed
• Expert SQL knowledge including PLSQL for Oracle and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, MIS, Mathematics, or Engineering plus 1 year of programming analysis, software engineering or software development - OR- a Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience in programming analysis, software engineering or software development - OR- a High School Diploma or GED plus 6 years of experience in programming analysis, software engineering or software development
• Expert knowledge with JDA’s Category Management tools (JDA 9.0) including Space Planning, Space Automation, Space Automation PRO, Floor planning, Open Access and Category Knowledge Base (CKB/IKB)
• Intermediate level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to provide on-call support when needed
