Summary
Responsible for Process improvement project management within the Shared Service Center (SSC) and Sub-Project Management of multiple complex enterprise wide system related projects that impact the SSC. Primary responsibilities include leading and managing full project lifecycle from feasibility, requirements, proposal, and budgeting, planning, implementation and roll out using CDI approved methodologies. Most projects will require collaboration and leadership of cross-functional business teams. Knowledge of front end or business systems, financial systems, back office operations, industry best practices and general CDI business processes will enable the identification of improvement initiatives and development of business cases.
Responsibilities
* The Project Manager (PM) will support a variety of process improvement efforts including process standardization and automation. * The PM will develop project cost benefit analysis, project plans, and budgets/forecasts and measure and analyze project performance regarding technical progress, schedules, and budgets. * The PM will conduct and lead project meeting, produce meeting minutes and action items. * The PM will interface with project stakeholders and customers on a regular basis, including the periodic distribution of written stakeholder level status reports. * Responsible for defining, managing and implementing a broad range of business and technical projects. * Manage 3-5 key projects simultaneously with significant scope, with accountability to develop project queues foe each project. * Ensure project objectives are set and roles of team members are clear. * Make recommendations to teams regarding issues and barriers to ensure project success. * Function as high-level interface with business segments as to project status, as necessary. * Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget. * Recommend solutions to conflicts, issues between multiple teams. * Work effectively within organization to evaluate project results.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other related field. Project Management (PMP) certification is preferred. * Prior knowledge of the Staffing and Engineering industries is preferred. * 5+ years of experience managing complex process improvement projects is preferred. * Advanced knowledge of Access / Excel is a plus. * Advanced project management skills training desired. * Experience in managing multiple complex projects. * Demonstrated business acumen. * Demonstrates capability to get results in a complex, often ambiguous environment. * Establishes trust and credibility at all levels of the organization. * Effectively manages change.
