Summary

As a Human Resources Coordinator at EverFi you will play an integral role on the Talent team and assist with all aspects of the Talent Department including but not limited to, background checks, employment verifications, on-boarding and off-boarding employees, and managing employee data in our HRIS system.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the background screening program of all EverFi employees.
  • Manage the processing of all new hires, change notices & employee terminations.
  • Ensure our system of record is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Respond to employment verification, unemployment claims & other inquiries.
  • Receive, process, and distribute employment (I-9) verifications and other Human Resources employment documents. Verify for completeness, accuracy and consistency of data and related information.
  • Help with creating and reshaping on-boarding & orientation process as well as off-boarding process.
  • Lead new hire orientation and answer any new hire questions.
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions for HR and Recruiting such as generating offer letters and scheduling interviews.
  • Create & run census reports on a weekly basis.
  • Handle special projects & other duties when assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • 2-3+ years’ experience as an HR or Recruiting Coordinator in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with HRIS and/or Payroll systems
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and good judgment when it comes to handling sensitive information are a must
  • Go-getter and self-starter with a customer service mentality
  • Must be able to prioritize, multitask & manage multiple deadlines
  • Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Google products, Jobvite and Namely (these HR systems are a plus but not required)
