Summary
As a Payroll Coordinator at Redfin, you won't be sitting in a small white-walled room isolated from others with fluorescent lights, payroll files and coffee, you'll be working closely with the team thinking of ways we can improve our employee's payroll experience. You'll need to embrace the role, own and commit to making it better, more streamlined and accessible.
Responsibilities
* **Payroll processing:** we're a little unique in how we process payroll. You'll be an instrumental part in supporting a multi-state payroll for a rapidly growing organization. * **Payroll support:** you'll support the payroll team with preparing the payroll and assisting with payroll related projects. * **Compliance:** you will provide support for all compliance oriented payroll reporting and tax filings. * **Work with teams:** you will work closely with Redfin's finance and HR teams. * **Customer Service:** our customers are our employees and we strive to provide top-notch customer service through excellent communication of all types.
Ideal Candidate
* You are entry-level, and have 1-2 years of experience in an accounting related role. * Detail is your middle name: you aren't just detail-oriented, you're obsessed about the details. You love spreadsheets, can't help but triple check everything you do. * Crazy organized: you never miss a beat, live by process and lists are your best friend. * Documentation Driven: you appreciate the importance of good documentation and you are eager to prepare and update procedural and process documentation. * Tech-ease: you've got to be familiar with MSFT office tools especially outlook, word & excel. You've got no problem picking up on new systems. * Flexibility: we move quickly, changing often. You've got to be able to roll with the punches maintaining a flexible environment that is quick to respond to organizational and personnel needs. **Technologies We Use And Teach** * Payroll systems * Workday (HRIS) * Excel
