Summary
We’re looking for an approachable and experienced Human Resource Director to join the Euclid team. As the company’s lead HR representative, you will be a core member of senior management and a partner to both employees and the business. Here at Euclid it is important that we work hard for each other -- particularly by aligning employee professional development with the company’s goals and values. You will manage the People Operations Manager on all aspects relating to compensation, payroll and benefits coordination as well as onboarding and offboarding. Responsibilities
* Company Culture - Be the ambassador and face of Euclid by initiating new programs, help plan team events and company offsites. * Business Partner - Working closely with the executive team to communicate the company’s long term vision. * Professional Development - Developing our employees’ careers is deeply important at Euclid. You will lead this effort, which includes driving performance review cycles, structuring engagement surveys, and defining long-term professional growth programs. * Professional Mentorship - Supporting and mentoring team leads and individual contributors across the company. * Employee Relations - Partner with managers, handle day-to-day employee inquiries, and take on sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and candor. Support and help to improve inter-team communications. * Employee Productivity - A trusted partner and resource to everyone in the company who seeks out feedback from employees and responds with solutions in a timely manner. * Board Reporting - Support the executive team’s reports to the Euclid Board regarding employee related matters; including hiring projections and plans as well as compensation structures across the organization.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of HR experience in a startup or within a technical company * BA or BS Degree * Current knowledge of CA and/or SF employment laws * Excellent communication skills * High emotional intelligence (EQ) * Team and culture-building experience * PHR or SPHR certification is preferred
