Summary
The Sr. HR Manager is responsible for providing broad HR generalist support to a growing close knit family of employees. Must have extensive experience in sourcing, qualifying and selecting top notch talent who fit Duarte’s culture. Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure a positive candidate experience. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be expected to partner with management to meet staffing goals while providing white glove internal and external customer support.
Responsibilities
* Provide a wide variety of HR generalist support and leadership to a staff of 100+ * Manage a small team of HR professionals * Source candidates for a variety of roles to include: presentation design, project management, account management, content development, operations/administration. * Full cycle recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offering, and on-boarding. * Source, qualify, and manage flexible/contract resources ensuring short term spikes in resource needs are met. * Identifies key success factors in candidates, and works with art direction team to qualify design talent. * Set expectations with account teams and provides a “consultative approach” to recruiting. * Schedule and facilitate interviews and hiring discussions * Prepares appropriate paperwork/contracts and ensures signed documents are approved and on file.
Ideal Candidate
**Skills Required** * Strong HR Generalist background. Requires independent judgment and sound decision making ability. * Must have advanced level sourcing and networking skills with a proven ability to employ a broad array of sourcing channels including referral programs, social networks, job boards, networking, recruiting events, etc. to seek out active and passive candidates. * Ability to work in a fast paced, highly fluid environment. * A strong eye for creative desired. Ability to multi-task with detail oriented paperwork, as well as mastering excellent people skills. * Strong consultative skills and the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers. * Strong communicator with both written and verbal skills. * Ability to negotiate alternative solutions in a diplomatic manner. * Ability to troubleshoot, go with the flow and be the calming influence in a hard charging company. * Maturity, sense of humor, and selfless with an ability to hold your ground when it’s needed. **Education/Experience** * College Degree in business or equivalent * 5-7 years of HR Generalist experience * 2+ years of management experience within HR * 3+ years of experience in the design/advertising/marketing industry, previous solid experience recruiting for creative positions.
