We have local chapters across the nation, providing services within each community. We provide caregivers and families with comprehensive online resources and information through our Alzheimer's and Dementia Caregiver Center, which features sections on early-stage, middle-stage and late-stage caregiving.
Summary
The Sr. Associate Director, Marketing, supports the Director, Creative Production and the entire organization through marketing planning, project management and shaping of marketing collateral, consumer campaigns, advertising, and mass market events. This position will be based at the Alzheimer Association's National office in downtown Chicago. Estimated travel is up to10%.
Responsibilities
* In collaboration with the Director, Creative Production, internal stakeholders and outside agencies, implements year-round advertising plan and measurement for the national office to increase concern & awareness of Alzheimer's disease and the Alzheimer's Association. * Provides strategic marketing and creative strategy direction to project managers and designers for nationwide consumer campaigns to increase concern & awareness and drive constituent engagement including fundraising, advocacy action, and participation in mission activities of the Alzheimer's Association. * Provides support and guidance to field staff in order to increase nationwide marketing efforts and constituent engagement. * Collaborates with Association-wide business owners as well as Public Relations, e-Strategy and Direct Marketing to create and implement integrated marketing plans. * Leads development of project planning tool and project management with all relevant stakeholders. * Oversees e-Commerce team including vendor and production process, inventory and financial management, product development, customer support oversight and design for Chapters and external customers. * Models, supports and implements the Alzheimer's Association brand, maintaining integrity and consistency throughout all communications. * Manages a team of marketing, graphic design and product & fulfillment professionals.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising or a related field. * 6-8 years' progressive marketing experience in a corporation, healthcare, consumer goods organization, or agency. * 5-6 years' focused experience in creative strategy and development. * 3-4 years management experience, including successfully leading and motivating a team. * Account management experience desirable. Voluntary health association experience a plus. * Excellent communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
