Summary
Responsible for setting creative vision for project work and working with a team of copywriters and designers to execute on appropriate solution. Ensures branding standards are consistent and maintained across design projects. Ensures quality of creative work and timely delivery based on schedules and deadlines. Manages creative work and workers that designs web-based promotions, page layouts, and other creative assets. Reviews and approves the design concepts, design work, copy writing, and art work of others (i.e. designers, copywriters, developers, etc.).
Responsibilities
* Elevates, maintains, and is accountable for quality of work and timeliness of delivery across one or more creative projects. * Manages relationship between internal clients. Serves as a point of understanding between the Creative department and business. Presents creative work to clients. * Contributes to staffing decisions on creative project work. Also contributes to hiring decisions for new designers through Creative Director. * Works with Creative Director to establish and execute on creative vision for projects. * Coordinates creative solutions across multiple departments and areas of expertise. * Provides art direction, copy direction, and mentorship to creative staff of copy writers designers and art directors. * Reviews and recommends the use of external vendors, to include evaluating portfolio of work for potential designers and copy writers, and recommending their use/hire on various projects. Ideal Candidate
**Basic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree and at least 6 years experience working as an Art Director, Graphic Designer and/or Copywriter OR a High School Diploma / GED and at least 8 years experience working as an Art Director, Graphic Designer and/or Copywriter * At least 6 years of experience leading or performing the design/copy writing of projects from concept to completion. * Experience using website design software, to include Illustrator and Photoshop. **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Visual Arts * Adobe CS3 Certificate * Experience working on ecommerce, marketing, and/or advertising projects * Experience working at an Agency in a creative leadership position. * Experience communicating ideas to business owners, stakeholders and senior management in order to persuade, gain acceptance, or sell. * Experience presenting information and ideas to clients and internal teams.
