Summary
The Director of Talent Acquisition and Recruitment will work across Human Resources with Talent and Workforce Development, Total Rewards, Employee Relations and our Business HRVP leads to develop strategies that drive Talent Acquisition Planning, Employment Branding, Candidate Relationship Management, Metrics and Analytics and Strategic Sourcing. The Director will also Lead the Recruitment of salaried and executive talent as well as collaborate across all businesses on strategies to identify, source, select and retain hourly associates.
Responsibilities
* This role Reports to VP Talent & Organization Development and will direct a staff of 8 Corporate TA and Recruiting Associates and Dotted Lined to Field Recruiters * Coaching leaders on best practices for hiring talent aligned with position qualifications and organizational needs * Creating Strategy Design and execution for “next practice” talent acquisition and recruitment * Establishing Assessment programs for candidate assessment and evaluation with quantifiable results * Leveraging the Delaware North Brand and employer/employee value proposition; elevating the brand and creating excitement for Delaware North as a best place to work * Adapting and Leveraging Social Media to drive Talent Acquisition making best use of social media that aligns with the need and culture of Delaware North while continuously elevating our image * Elevating Skills and Effectiveness of Internal Recruitment and hiring managers to source, screen and hire the right talent including a focus on diversity candidates * Driving And Sustaining Internal Talent Mobility programs tied to succession planning and high potential identification * Partnering on Employee Onboarding with Talent and Workforce Development and HRVP business leads to create and sustain an effective process with success measures * Identifying, Building and Sustaining Technology for best practice talent acquisition and recruitment * Identifying and Ensuring the Use of Sourcing Strategies for diverse candidate audiences * Showing Accountability by Building and Reporting On Measures And Outcomes for continuous improvement in recruitment processes, hiring decisions, and quality of hire * Positioning Talent Acquisition to provide positive candidate experiences and a sustainable pipeline of talent for key positions * Talent Acquisition Planning and examining and providing support for business alignment and workforce planning across global businesses * Leading an Internal Executive Recruitment Practice with effective strategies, tools and programs to attract Executive level “A” talent and when necessary, overseeing executive search firm performance

* Know-how and demonstrated experience in building organizational talent * Accountability and collaboration for shared responsibility * Great influencer and salesmanship; builds and sustains confidence and credibility at all levels * Strategic thinking and visioning for unrivaled recruitment support * Focus on results…getting things done * Excellent leadership skills; brings out the best in others * Experience developing and implementing Talent Acquisition process improvements * Experience building recruiting metrics and utilizing assessment tools and techniques * Experience in a fast paced environment with diverse businesses * Experience working with current Talent Acquisition and recruitment best practices and industry trends * Hands on knowledge of TA and Recruitment Technology tools integrated with core HR systems * Experience leading executive search * 10+ years’ experience in a combination of HR Generalist, Recruitment and Senior Talent Acquisition roles. * BA in Business, HR or a combination of experience and education aligned to the role * Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
