Summary
Datadog is seeking an experienced Enterprise Sales Executive that has a passion for technology and can deliver on aggressive revenue targets. This is a greenfield opportunity to sell the Datadog cloud monitoring solution that is bringing sanity to DevOps teams. As we continue to break into bigger deals, and larger enterprise territory, this new sales division within Datadog will be able to blaze the path for the organization to leverage our growing popularity in the market with a truly effective product. You’ll be able to travel on site to client locations to convey the value that Cloud Monitoring with Datadog brings to their teams.
Responsibilities
* Prospecting into mid to large sized companies while managing an efficient sales process. * Negotiate favorable pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises by selling value and ROI. * Collaboratively leverage all internal resources including: product management, customer care, inside sales, sales engineering and marketing. * Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to contribute to our sales methodology and processes. * Understand how to leverage both international and domestic colleagues to expand deal size and value to the customer. * Provide price quotes, suggest add-ons to meet customer requirements, and ensure their orders are properly placed. * Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory. * Participates in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs. * Client presentation capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years direct Enterprise Software sales experience to large enterprises is a must. * Prior track record of meeting and exceeding quota. * Ability to travel nationally or internationally, up to 50%. * In-depth knowledge of the SaaS/Cloud space. * Very comfortable in the “C” suite with a track record of closing six figure deals. * Exceptional management, interpersonal, written and presentation skills. * Thrives in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly changing environment. * Able to work independently and remotely from other members of your team and corporate. * Prior experience with Salesforce. * Knowledge of prospects and customers within defined space.
