Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who will join a Product Management team that is responsible for the strategy, definition, delivery and adoption of HP’s Marketing Optimization portfolio focused on Digital Experience Management. You will work with a cross-functional group within the company across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Support and Professional Services, as well as HP’s customers and prospects, to drive the vision and roadmap internally and externally. The product manager will formulate critical success factors, work with engineering to define product releases, work with product marketing to create effective strategies that foster sales success, and drive product adoption by being an evangelist and “go-to” person for this product. Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the product team on the product strategy * Define the key modules of the TeamSite Digital Experience Management platform * Continually work to analyze, uncover and refine the data to make the products more usable, successful and relevant. * Deliver User Stories and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification * Be an expert with respect to the competition * Work with Product Marketing on go-to-market plans, analyst briefings and launch activities * Act as a leader within the company
Ideal Candidate
* Education and Experience Required: * Business Analyst (BA) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marketing or related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred * 5+ years product management experience in software applications required * 3+ Years Agile methodology required * 2+ years SaaS (software as a service) experience highly desirable * 2+ Years Enterprise software product management highly desirable· Analytics and/or Business Intelligence experience highly desirable * Strong track record of shipping beautiful, functional software products Knowledge and Skills Required: * A passion for digital marketing, particularly customer experience and web analytics. * Experience with Digital Asset Management or Content Management solutions * Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools * Master level knowledge of the Agile/scrum-based development process * Experience with SaaS product development and go-to-market (pricing, delivery, business models) * Software development past experience is a big plus * Well-developed understanding of the Digital Marketing industry, offering categories and HP offerings/strategy * Strong project management skills * Excellent written/oral communications * Strong analytical skills * Excellent interpersonal skills * Ability to build, manage and influence virtual teams * Excellent negotiating skills * Ability to interface effectively with all levels of management and functional disciplines * Strong influencing and consensus-building skills * Conflict resolution skills
