Based in San Francisco, Airware has built a cross-disciplinary team of experts in aerospace, robotics, geospatial, hardware, software, and cloud.
Summary
Airware is looking for a proven marketing executive to build and drive marketing programs across our global organization.The VP of Marketing will create compelling messaging and positioning, conduct market and competitive analysis, jointly set the go-to-market strategy, enable our sales team, and position Airware as the strongest enterprise drone brand. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading marketing initiatives within an enterprise SaaS-based company. We’re looking for a can-do, high-energy team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and who has experience bringing solutions to market in a new category.
Responsibilities
* Build a collaborative and comprehensive marketing and communications strategy * Develop and support sales training and sales enablement activities * Create top-level company and product positioning and messaging hierarchy * Develop and implement marketing plans for reseller and partner channels * Lead a team of marketers in San Francisco and Paris * Collaborate cross-functionally with Airware’s Sales, Customer Success, and Product Management teams * Provide regular feedback to Product team on what you’re learning in the market and how our product can be improved * Monitor and report on marketing costs and expenses, ROI, working metrics and key results to management team and CEO
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is preferred * 10+ years of marketing enterprise software * Minimum of 5+ years in a marketing leadership role * Experience bringing solutions to market in a new category * Able to set priorities, plan and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a demanding, high-growth category * Proven experience in enterprise sales enablement * Knowledge of latest tools and best practices (Marketing Automation, Demand Gen tools, SEO) * Excellent oral and written communication skills * Strong business acumen, passionate, entrepreneurial, thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment * Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability
