About Contactually
Contactually converts your contacts to relationships, all through email. The system identifies when you email a new lead, shows what you already know about him, and asks a few specific questions to learn more: how did you meet, how important is he, what are the next steps. The system then parses your response and automatically pushes all rich data to your CRM.
Summary
We’re looking for a VP of Sales to lead this team. Your #1 goal will be to grow revenue and effectively manage the team to maximize the acquisition of new users, and help the company continue to grow rapidly. We have a team of 10 sales rockstars, and they’re passionate about evangelizing Contactually.
Responsibilities
**Management** * Develop and manage a highly engaged sales team working within a collaborative and cross-functional organization. * Create learning opportunities and develop staff for internal promotion * Develop and manage sales budgets * Participate as a member of the Executive Team, contributing to overall company strategy and operations. **Strategy** * Segment target markets and prioritize, balancing near term revenue with long-term potential. * Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success and Product to assess product readiness and market fit and develop plans for launch. * Define sales strategies for enterprise prospects. * Develop targeted outbound marketing strategies by segment * Create and manage sales/distribution channels and strategic partnerships **Execution** * Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results and provide reporting on such and determine appropriate strategies.Develop and manage the team sales cycle * Ensure that all relevant opportunity details are tracked and documented in our CRM * Travel both domestically and internationally to present at conferences and other events as needed (25%)
Ideal Candidate
* You have experience building and managing a sales team in a high-growth SaaS startup. * You’ve been a people manager for 5+ years. Your previous teams love you. * You love a goal and driving teams to results. You are all about winning. * You have excellent analytical skills. You’re very comfortable rolling up your sleeves to dig through Excel sheets and build Salesforce reports to solve problems. * You’re very process-driven and focused on experimentation/iteration. * You love four-legged furry friends. We generally have several dogs running around the office! * Ultimately, we’re looking for a senior executive who will own this large part of our business. You’ll have a seat at the executive table, and will be a huge factor in the future success of Contactually.
