Summary
We are looking for a creative, strategic, high-energy Senior Account Executive to join our award-winning PR team. The ideal candidate will excel at integrating traditional, digital and social media to place our clients in front of their unique audiences in compelling ways. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for fresh ideas and can bring those to life by developing broad-based programs for a range of b-to-b clients, particularly in the technology industry. Our Senior Account Executives are responsible for day-to-day management of accounts, working closely with clients on communications initiatives that often stretch beyond traditional PR and into other marketing disciplines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage up with senior staff, and also manage and help grow account staff. CTP is a dynamic, independent agency that features a collaborative environment of PR practitioners, digital and social strategists and a creative staff across multiple disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Ability to direct day-to-day implementation of PR, social and industry analyst relations programs, including managing budgets and overseeing timelines - Develop and maintain successful relationships with key journalists and analysts
Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years agency experience in the b-to-b space with a focus on tech clients - Experience managing and executing strategic plans and programs that track toward clear, measurable goals - Experience developing strong, relevant story opportunities and providing traditional and digital/social recommendations to clients - Ability to think quickly, strategically and effectively; - Assist with developing content, including pitches, news releases and media kit information; - Genuine interest in the technology space, and a deep understanding of the news and trends that provide opportunities and threats within each client's industry; - Experience managing and using social media channels on behalf of clients; - Strong writing capabilities and experience.
