Redflex has been partnering with cities for nearly 25 years to help save lives and reduce injuries on America’s roadways through innovative technologies and strategic service partnerships.
Responsibilities
The Communications Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a communications strategy to support the Redflex Traffic Systems’ retention and lead generation process. This person will be the key contact with outside media and clients’ public information officers.
Ideal Candidate
- Implement external communications plan with an eye for enhancing the Redflex brand through social media, media relations, speaking engagements, trade shows and thought leadership opportunities. - Serve as project manager, content generator and editor supporting the Redflex outbound communications such as website updates, trade show messaging, press releases, media pitches, and company and client newsletters. - Interact with Redflex clients, consulting on media and public relations strategies. - Work cross functionally with the sales and account management team ensuring coordination and alignment. - BA/BS required. - A minimum of five years’ experience in communications, journalism and public relations. - Self-starter with established track record of building cross functional relationships and managing multiple projects. - Strong organizational, writing/copy editing skills. - Marketing knowledge and experience a plus - Web skills a major differentiator
