Responsible for CareCredit Brand External Affairs and Corporate Communications including development of PR, Management of Social Media, Crisis and Brand Violations Management, development of Internal Executive Communications as well as CareCredit Brand Health and Management.
Essential Responsibilities

Lead proactive public relations and issues management. Proactively engage and educate key stakeholders, including media, investors & consumers

Research, write and edit news releases, media materials, and posts, as well as relevant market-specific messaging for internal and external audiences to support business initiatives and growth

Work with Corporate Communications team members to respond to media inquiries and assist in garnering favorable coverage

Shape and structure clear, compelling messages and develop story-telling campaigns

Support executives for external speaking engagements and opportunities for thought leadership

Manage Crisis Scenario Planning Guide and lead execution in response to issues and urgent PR situations and online Brand violations

Work with operations to identify and support appropriate response to external inquiries and opportunities, aligned with deadlines and response protocol

Monitor and measure the effectiveness of external affairs results

Manage Caring Communities Program, as well as CRA SYFB grant process

Create and maintain press kits and current briefing documents

Develop multi-media assets such as video programs, infographics and other visuals and creative to complement External Affairs and Social campaigns

Collaborate with all departments to develop social media goals, strategy, opportunities, stakeholder mapping and content calendar, and manage brand presence across all social channels/networking sites

Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on existing and new social media trends, tools and applications, website and newsroom, and provide recommendations for effectively integrating with business strategies.

Establish and maintain strong relationships with key social media and digital influencers and have processes to monitor, rapidly deploy content and support the broader organization

Work in partnership with teams to align and integrate social media with overall marketing and sales plans, campaigns, initiatives and objectives.

Create, maintain and execute a Brand Calendar including: External Affairs, Social Media and engagement, Community outreach, etc.

Lead all internal communication to employees, including executive communication, site announcements, site signage and events

Support news gathering, brand building and content development, and engagement programs for employee and stakeholder sites such as communities or groups. Assist with online editorial preparation, including graphics and template design; content development; and dissemination of messaging across digital channels.

As part of the Corporate Communications team, establish Brand Guidelines, publish Brand updates and establish Brand protocol.

Measure, analyze and translate qualitative and quantitative data on the impact on brand building activities and overall Brand Health.

Help to develop and execute integrated events, sponsorship and partnerships to enhance the Brand

Write, create, edit and or contribute to other communications projects as needed.

Manage all agencies and external resources.

Manage budget and production timelines
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

9 years of experience in corporate or agency marketing communications/PR management will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

A minimum of 7 years of corporate marketing communications and/or PR management experience required, to include: experience managing Digital Media, communications planning & execution, and experience crafting news stories for both print and online distribution.

Minimum of 2 years experience in communications planning and execution of strategy
