Summary
Direct responsibility involves leading the Global Rewards Product team with the creation, launch, and management of the Rewards product line.This includes ensuring new markets are tracking to their launch dates and supporting them with any issues they face, sharing best practices with live markets and assisting them with improvements to their metrics, and ensuring the rewards products remain aligned globally. The role will rationalize existing offerings and drive increased consistency in product packaging, value proposition, and experience.
Responsibilities
* Work with key stakeholders to continue differentiating the product with key capabilities to enable us to win in key markets. * Ensure that local markets have ability to effectively drive engagement as well as manage expenses so that products meet profitability hurdles globally. * Implement a consistent framework for how we manage and measure the product globally, and engage with local teams to optimize the performance of product in their market as subject matter expert. * Business Development: Active participation in global partnership pipeline to identify best target markets for future launches.Help with analysis by working with Local, Regional, and Global counterparts to establish strategic priority. * Product Launches: Support the planned launches in 2016 as well as future launches in subsequent years.Ensure on-time delivery by addressing and resolving project issues as they arise. * Marketing: Work to establish a Marketing Playbook for the product suite which can be consumed by live and future launch markets.Maintain and update this collateral as appropriate * Product Management: Actively work with markets where rewards products exist today to establish where the product is successful and share best practices with other markets.Support them in areas where the product needs improvement by assessing and advising on solutions. * Leadership: Ability to demonstrate vision, coach junior members of the organization, and to inspire the working team
Ideal Candidate
* 8-10 years of product management experience * Detailed knowledge of credit card economics and profit drivers * Understanding of product design and experience * Excellent communication, partnership and influencing skills * Executive presence, ability to demonstrate vision, confidence when speaking with senior leaders and effectively getting strategy across * Leadership experience, ability to coach, lead, and inspire teams * Proven track record of delivering results and strong problem solving skills * Bachelors and/or Master’s in marketing preferred Role requires strong P&L knowledge with 8-10 years of product management experience, managing and building card propositions in large, complex markets, with international experience a definite plus.Role does not directly manage staff, but will be required to direct and coordinate the activities of large cross functional teams across local / regional product teams, IT, risk and decision management, compliance, and GCMIO.Role will also leverage resources across the GFM organization on key initiatives, and on those initiatives will have responsibility for directing activities of those resources.
